Horticulture Science

Horticulture Science

In this class, students will have the opportunity to work first hand in our greenhouse and our newest addition to the department, a brand-new, one of a kind aquaponics laboratory. Students will see how aquaculture and horticulture are combined to produce plant and protein products with a fraction of the space and water. They will also be able to work in the greenhouse and cultivate plants directly from seed and then plant in raised bed gardens.

Class Rules:

  • Be IN YOUR SEAT BEFORE the tardy bell rings
  • NO food or drinks
  • NO cell phones
  • Come to class PREPARED to learn
  • Stay ON TASK and DO YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
  • Be respectful AT ALL TIMES
