A Cappella Club

Ramsay Campbell

As this year begins strong, clubs are springing into action by having their first meetings. Some clubs have been a part of Hudson for years: Art Club, Spanish Club, Student Council, NHS, etc. But this year a new club is making its’ debut at Hudson High School, the A Cappella Club. A club founded by Jonathan Hammond and KD Warner, focuses on making instrumental noises with their voices to create a new and modern sound that is separate from any other musical entity that we have on campus. The sponsors of the newly founded club are Mrs. Mize and Ms. West, along with the clubs officers: Jonathan Hammond (President), KD Warner (Vice-President), Katy Turner (Secretary), and Garret Croley (Treasure). Members need not worry if they are not especially musically talented: there are no auditions and the club officers are determined to find a place for every member who wishes to perform. Member Caitlyn Hutson says, “We are really excited about this new club. It’s a really fun thing to be a part of!” The club plans to have a decade inspired spring melody in the Choir’s spring concert and asks for support from fans of this new exciting musical group.
