FFA
What is FFA? An organization in agriculture that promotes education in the field of agriculture.
Who can join? Anyone can join FFA as long as they are enrolled in an agriculture class.
What will students be doing when they join? Students can enter contests such as the hay judging contest, horse judging contest or any other livestock judging contest. They can show projects in the youth fair and attend the FFA banquet in the spring.
Dues: $5 to join (includes t-shirt)

FCCLA
What is FCCLA? Family Career and Community Leaders of America.
Who can join? Students have to have had one class in the FCS department either currently or in the past. (Classes with Mrs. Gerard or Mrs. Ratcliff)
What will students be doing when they join? Members will be working on leadership skills, how to be good members of the community, and things that can be done to better their community. Focus is mainly on the culinary aspect with cooking competitions and conventions.

Nerd Herd
What is the Nerd Herd? A club designed for technology students to interact with each other socially.
Who can join? Students in a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year technology class.
What will students be doing when they join? Students will have the opportunity to participate in at least one civic project for the community such as partnering with Hornet Helping Hands.
Dues: $20 (includes t-shirt)

Photography Club/ Hudson Shutter
What is Hudson Shutter? A club for anyone that likes to take pictures.
Who can join? Anyone interested in photography (Expensive cameras are not necessary)
What will students be doing when they join? Students will gather to collectively learn how to take better photos and each month a theme will be chosen for a photo contest in which the winner will be awarded a gift card.

Drug Free Club
What is the Drug Free Club? A collection of students who want to celebrate the fact that they are drug free.
Who can join? Anyone
What will students be doing when they join? Members will be organizing Red Ribbon Week festivities.
Dues: No dues

Robotics
What is Robotics? An after school club where members will build a robot to compete in a national competition in Houston.
Who can join? Anyone; no prior knowledge necessary.
What will students be doing when they join? After school workshops and a trip to Houston to participate in the FRC competition.

Key Club
What is Key Club? An international student led organization that provides its members with opportunities to perform service, build character, and develop leadership.
Who can join? Anyone
What will students be doing when they join? Members will participate in multiple community service projects such as the Hudson Fire Department's Haunted House, Trick or Treat for Unicef, and ZooBoo.
Dues: $20

Art Club
What is Art Club? Members are able to gather and share their love for art through service projects.
Who can join? Anyone
What will students be doing when they join? Community service projects such as the Haunted House, making cards for the nursing homes, and painting the mural by the baseball fields.

Bass Club
What is Bass Club? An organization for students to partner up and compete in fishing competitions.
Who can join? 7th-12th grade students
What will students be doing when they join? Compete against other schools in fishing tournaments to win scholarship money.

What is Student Council? An organization by which students can become involved in activities at school and in the community.
Who can join? Anyone
What will students be doing when they join? Student leadership and community service projects.
