Classroom Expectations

Classroom Expecations

  • The only way to be successful in this class and in life is to actually show up and be present. Being present doesn’t just mean being physically in the classroom, but it needs being mentally present as well. Thus, cell phones will be collected if seen in the classroom. They distract from the focus and attention in the room.

  • HHS provides all students with a laptop. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure it is charged and ready to use at the beginning of each class.

  • Students in OnRamps have daily and weekly requirements. They should use class time appropriately to make sure they understand the requirements of each and every assignment.

  • The content of this course lends itself to discussions and conversations where students might have differing opinions. The number one rule in this class is to be respectful of all in the room, even if you disagree with what they are saying.
