"Wishing Everyone a Great Weekend,
Like most of you my Friday was extremely busy and stressful, but as I was wrapping up my day I began to hear what sounded like singing coming from the entrance of the HS campus. As I walked out of my office to leave for the day I was greeted by Mrs. Fitz and the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Middle School Choir practicing for an upcoming performance. I was so impressed with what I was hearing I asked the students if I could record them and share it with the rest of the middle school and HMS community. This was such a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do in education even when our day doesn't go as planned, and I just wanted to share this blessing with all of you. Hudson is a special place"
Congratulations to Hudson seniors Amanda Salas and Corie Burdette who have advanced to TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) Nationals in the Teacher Created Resource category! Way to go Hornets!!
