HUDSON HIGH SCHOOL

Maroon Blooms is a student-operated, in-school flower shop, created to provide real-world, hands-on experience for students enrolled in our Introduction to Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, and Practicum of Floral Design classes. Through daily shop operations, students learn essential skills in design, customer service, merchandising, and business management while creating high-quality floral arrangements for campus and community needs.

The program proudly partners with the Texas State Florist Association (TSFA) to offer industry-recognized certifications. Students have the opportunity to earn the Knowledge-Based Certification, Level 1 Hands-On Certification, and Level 2 Hands-On Certification, preparing them for future careers in the floral industry and helping them build confidence, creativity, and professional expertise.
